Increased in size belly hinders the pregnant woman to choose comfortable position for sleep and rest. Because of sleep disorders in the future mother she may experience a bad mood, a sense of weakness and irritability and distraction.
At 30th week of pregnancy it is not recommended to sleep on your back, since in this position the uterus clamps the inferior vena cava, which disrupts the blood circulation. The most optimal posture for sleep is now sleeping on your left side. It will be even more convenient if you slightly bend your knees, and put a small pillow between them.
